The workforce planning implications from recent policy developments arising from the White Paper ‘Caring for our future: reforming care and support’ are addressed by the CfWI who have produced a summary of key issues that will be of interest in the adult social care workforce. It covers the risk of an imbalance between workforce supply and demand; dangers of loss of skills, knowledge and experience and the challenges of increasing the status of social care. You can find the issues in more detail here: www.cfwi.org.uk/workforce-planning-news-and-review/risks-and-opportunities-for-employers-in-adult-social-care
