hi does anyone know if you can continue to claim working family tax credits as a shared lives carer please ?

ALTHOUGH SHARED LIVES IS SEEN A SUPPORTED PLACEMENT AS OPPOSED TO A JOB, BECAUSE YOU ARE SELF EMPLOYED, IT IS SEEN AS FULL TIME, SO YOU STATE OVER 30 HOURS WORKING, AND, AS LONG AS YOUR TAXABLE PROFITS ARE BELOW THE THRESHOLD, YOU WILL QUALIFY.

What Phil says is quite right. We actually state 90 hours work each every week ( which is the maximum I think) which is more representative of the amount of time carers actually give.
