Shared Lives Carer Support Manager
Hours: 37 per week
Based: North of England with national travel
Duration: the post is potentially funded (with statutory redundancy pay) for five years
Shared Lives Plus is the UK network for small community services. Our members work on a small scale or in their own family homes, helping older and disabled people to live good lives in a place they feel they belong.
A new Shared Lives Carer Support And Engagement Manager, jointly funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and Nesta will support our Shared Lives carer members by offering information, advice and guidance, supporting Shared Lives carer groups and supporting the membership offer to Shared Lives carers. This post will also line manage our Shared Lives carer support and development officer and National Community Organiser and manage externally commissioned services for Shared Lives carers.
This is an exciting role for someone with line management experience and knowledge of Shared Lives to be involved at a time of real growth and development across the sector.
